Nebraska football season ticket holders will see no increase in ticket prices for the 2010 season, the NU athletic department announced on Friday.
Season ticket holders will once again pay $54 per ticket for seven home games in 2010 ($378 total). In addition, 2010 will mark the eighth consecutive year that UNL students will not see their season ticket prices increased. Students will once again pay a total of $147 for seven home games, or $21 per game.
"Our fans have been the most loyal college football fans in the country for several decades," Nebraska Athletic Director Tom Osborne said. "We certainly appreciate their continued support and expect that they will continue to enjoy the experience of coming to Memorial Stadium in 2010."
Many Nebraska fans will soon receive an e-mail from the Nebraska Athletic Ticket Office providing them the opportunity to renew their tickets on-line at Huskers.com. Fans are encouraged to renew their tickets on-line from Friday, Jan. 29 through Feb. 15. Fans that renew during that early period are eligible for prizes. Those paying through eCheck during this period will also receive a $15 discount on handling charges.
The Ticket Office also reminds Nebraska fans that tickets for the Red-White Spring Game on April 17 will go on sale on Wednesday, Feb. 3, beginning at 8 a.m. Tickets are available on-line at Huskers.com, on the phone by calling 1-800-8-BIG-RED or in person at the Ticket Office.
