Fans Can Listen to Every Husker Game in 2010

For the first time in program history, Husker fans will be able to listen to a radio broadcast of every Nebraska softball game in 2010 on Huskers.com.

Every one of Nebraska's 55 regular-season games and all postseason contests will be carried live and free of charge on Huskers.com. The ability to cover the entire schedule was made possible by the IMG Husker Sports Network, which is in its 15th year of producing and marketing live broadcasts of Nebraska athletics.

"We are very excited for our fans to be able to listen to every game this season," Head Coach Rhonda Revelle said. "We think we can have a very good season and we're excited that the fans can follow our journey. We're very grateful to the Husker Sports Network for making this possible."

Play-by-play voice Nate Rohr will call every pitch of the 2010 season. Rohr, who earned a broadcasting degree from Nebraska in 2009, is in his sixth season as the full-time voice of Nebraska softball. His resume also includes play-by-play duties for Nebraska women's basketball and wrestling, the Lincoln Stars hockey team and a variety of high school sports.

The 2010 broadcast schedule begins on Thursday, Feb. 11 when the Huskers open their season with a doubleheader at New Mexico State, which won the 2009 NCAA team batting title. First pitch of the season is set for 5 p.m. (Central).
