The Huskers started the day with back-to-back wins, as Karyn LaCour and Fourie swept the 60-meter hurdles. After running the top prelim time on Friday at 8.64, LaCour kept the top spot in the finals at 8.60. Fourie then scorched the track with an NCAA provisional-qualifying time of 7.77, which was two-hundredths of a second off his personal best of 7.75.

Jonas won with a leap of 7-6 and then attempted to break the Devaney Center record with attempts at 7-7 1/4, but was unable to clear.

Already a 60-meter hurdler and long jumper for the Huskers, Arna Erega added the triple jump to her repertoire on Saturday with a winning leap of 41-2 1/4. Erega led a 1-2-3 finish for the Huskers, as she was followed by teammates Leandra McGruder (40-11 3/4) and Tara Korshoj (39-9 1/4).
