  • The official attendance was 65,826.
  • Mizzou lost to Nebraska in Columbia for the first time since 2001 when the Huskers picked up a 36-3 win.
  • The Tigers lost a nine-point or more halftime lead for the first time against Nebraska. Mizzou was a perfect nine-for-nine entering the game.
  • Missouri failed to improve to 5-0 for the first time since 2006.
  • Mizzou held Nebraska scoreless in the first half for the first time since 1988, when the Tigers entered the break ahead, 6-0. The Huskers also came back to win that game, 28-16.
  • Missouri held Nebraska to a season-low 105 yards rushing. The Huskers’ previous low came against Louisiana-Lafayette when they notched 133 yards on the ground.
  • Sophomore quarterback Blaine Gabbert threw his first two career interceptions against the Huskers. He entered the contest flawless in 177 career attempts. He failed to throw a touchdown for the first time this season as well. Gabbert also recorded a season-low 134 yards. His previous low was 172 yards against Bowling Green.
  • Gabbert tallied his third rushing touchdown of the season with a one-yard score on the first half’s final play.
  • Senior wide receiver Jared Perry caught four passes to move into 10th place on Mizzou’s career receptions list with 120. He passed Brian Sallee who finished his career with 119. Perry also moved into 10th place on Missouri’s career receiving yardage list with 1,597 yards, just one yard ahead of Sean Coffey. Perry needs just four yards to pass Tommy Saunders for ninth-place on the list.
  • Junior linebacker Andrew Gachkar had a career night as he recorded two fumble recoveries, one sack and five tackles and a forced fumble in the contest. He now has three fumble recoveries in his career, all recorded in the last three games.
  • Sophomore placekicker Grant Ressel missed the first field goal of his career on a 43-yard attempt in the third quarter. Ressel entered the game a perfect 10-of-10. He later made a 33-yard field goal late in the third quarter to improve to 11-of-12 on the season.
  • Senior linebacker Sean Weatherspoon recorded five tackles to move his career total to 345. He is one tackle shy of tying Darryl Major for eighth-place on the all-time list.
  • Senior punter Jake Harry IV entered the game ranked seventh in the nation with a 45.1 yard average per punt. He punted eight times against the Husker’s and averaged 44.6 yards.
