Huskers Readying for Road Trip

Lincoln - Nebraska Coach Bo Pelini met with the media on Tuesday at Memorial Stadium to discuss the Huskers' upcoming Big 12 road game at Baylor on Saturday. Kickoff at Floyd Casey Stadium in Waco, Texas, is set for 11:30 a.m. with television coverage provided by Versus.

The Huskers (4-3 overall, 1-2 Big 12) will try to get back on the winning track after back-to-back Big 12 home losses the past two weeks. The Bears (3-4 overall, 0-3 Big 12) are searching for their first league victory.

Although the Bears have struggled recently after losing starting quarterback Robert Griffin to injury, Pelini said the Huskers understand the importance of Saturday's game in Waco.

"You have to take care of yourself," Pelini said. "You win and you don't have to worry about what's happening around you. That's the attitude we take, and all I'm concerned with right now is Baylor. We have to get this next one. Believe me, our guys understand the urgency of the situation."
