Both Werth and Mancuso have played instrumental roles in Nebraska posting a 15-5 record and a No. 8 ranking in this week’s AVCA poll.
Werth has started at outside hitter and averages a team-high 3.12 kills and 2.87 digs per set, as she is second on the team in digs. Werth leads all Big 12 freshmen in kills per set and is third (first among non-liberos) in digs per set and has nine double-doubles this season. She had a career-high 19 kills and 12 digs in a win over Oklahoma last Saturday.
Mancuso has become a vital back-row performer, as she has played in 19 of the Huskers’ 20 matches. On the year, she is averaging 0.68 kills, 1.68 digs and 0.21 service aces per set. Mancuso had a career-high 16 digs and a service ace against Iowa State on Oct. 21, and had a career-best four service aces against Kansas State on Oct. 10.
