First 36 Holes Canceled at Alamo Invite

San Antonio, Texas - The Nebraska women's golf team had its opening day of the Alamo Invitational washed out at the Briggs Ranch Golf Club on Monday.

The Huskers were scheduled to play the first 36 holes of the three-round Alamo Invite on Monday, but heavy rains forced the cancellation of the opening rounds.

Nebraska and the rest of the 12-team field will try to take the course again on Tuesday morning for a single round. Live stats for the event will be available at GolfStat.com.
