Defensive Tackle Ndamukong Suh<?xml:namespace prefix="o" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"?>

On how tough it is on the defense when the offense is struggling

“It's tough because we expect a lot out of them. We know what they can do as they did in the previous four games we've played at the beginning of the season. It's different teams, but we still know our offense is still potent and well be potent again. They just need to work out some kinks and what not. Like I said last week, that's where we have to step up on the defensive side and the special teams side and pick that group up. We have to make a play whether it's get a turnover, as we did. We forced a fumble, unfortunately didn't recover. It's things like that we have to do. Put them in positions where they ultimately have no other choice but to score."

On if it gets frustrating

“No, you just have to roll with the punches. It's something, that's the name of the game. You never know what's going to happen but you have to learn how to deal with it at any point and time what happens. You just have to, like I said, roll with the punches and keep playing. That's what I feel this defense did and special teams did. Obviously they got a little, I don't know what it was, but they got some run out on our punt return. It's something we have to deal with and we obviously came back from it and didn't allow them to score and move forward. That's what we're expected to do."

On how you put this game into words

"It's disappointing because even on the defensive side we gave up a touchdown. We don't give that touchdown up it's a different ball game. It's disappointing because I know what we have on both sides of the ball with special teams. It's not meshing together just yet and I don't know why it's not, but we're definitely going to figure it out this next week and get that handled."

On if they feel like their goals are still in place

"Yeah, definitely feel that's still the case. I don't know who in the North has beat Iowa State, but if we go and win out, obviously we have to take care of Baylor first, but I still believe our goals are still intact. This is a bad hiccup to take, but it's something we have to deal with. Something we can still move forward from and we still in the North, Kansas State, Colorado and Kansas. We can take care of business. We can definitely feel that all our goals are still intact, but like it said, it's within. We have to take care of our own business first. Get ready for this Baylor team, go down there and hopefully pull out a win and come back home and move forward."

Tight End Mike McNeil

On how you put a game like this in perspective

“You just have to get better. I don't know, there is not a lot to say. We didn't execute and we turned the ball over. We have to play a lot better than that to win games."

On if he was ever in disbelief during the game from the turnovers

"We still had our chance to win the game. Not until the thing ended were we really. They were all bad but we kept thinking we could win. It's just a matter of putting three points on the board."

On what happened on the pass that he bobbled and was picked off by Iowa State

"I ran a route and I think the middle linebacker tipped it and I just reached back to try and grab it. I almost had it and I got hit. They ended up with the ball."

On what the demeanor of the offense is right now

"We just beat ourselves. It's tough. It's a bad game when you turn the ball over what, seven times? Obviously, we're not happy. We just have to come back"

On what they must do to make the fumbles stop

"Work on ball security. We executed a lot of plays pretty well and we cough the ball up. We can't do that."
