Kansas City, Mo. - The Nebraska men's golf team is in third place after two rounds at the UMKC Bill Ross Intercollegiate at Blue Hills Country Club. The Huskers are at 597 and trail Central Arkansas by 15 strokes.
Brandon Crick led NU on the day with a tie-for-seventh performance. Crick shot a two-round total of 147 and is seven strokes behind the leader, Dustin Garza of Wichita State.
Scott Willman, competing near his hometown of Prairie Village, Kan., shot 73 in the second round, the best for NU, and is tied for 11th at 148. Mike Coatman is one shot back of Willman at 149 and tied for 13th.
Andrew Wyatt shot 75 in the second round and moved into a tie for 27th place at 153. Brett Nymeyer caps off the Huskers' starting five at 157, tied for 48th.
Jordan Reinertson, competing as an individual, scored 76 in the second round and is tied for 42nd at 156.
