Kansas City, Mo. - The Nebraska men's golf team is in second place at the UMKC Bill Ross Intercollegiate after Monday's first round at Blue Hills Country Club. The Huskers shot a first-round total of 299 and sit seven strokes behind the leader, Central Arkansas.
Brandon Crick is in third place after shooting 71 (-1) in the first round. Crick is two strokes out of first place. Mike Coatman and Scott Willman share 10th place after 18 holes, each with scores of 75.
Brett Nymeyer and Andrew Wyatt shot 78 and are tied for 30th. NU's Jordan Reinertson is competing as an individual. Reinertson shot 80 and is tied for 46th.
