Huskers to Play Three on FSN

Lincoln - The Nebraska women's basketball team will play three nationally televised games on FSN this season as part of the Big 12's extensive package with the network, the conference office announced on Thursday, Sept. 3.

The Huskers will get their first taste of national TV in 2009-10, when they hit the road to take on perennial Big 12 power Baylor at the Ferrell Center in Waco, Texas, on Sunday, Jan. 17, at 2:30 p.m.

Less than a week later, Nebraska will again be featured in a marquee matchup when the Huskers play host to Big 12 North rival Kansas State at the Bob Devaney Sports Center in Lincoln. Tip time has been set for 11 a.m. against the Wildcats.

Two weeks later, Nebraska welcomes Texas A&M to the Devaney Center for the Huskers' third nationally televised game of the season. Tip-off between the Huskers and Aggies is set for Noon.

In addition to Nebraska's three nationally televised games, the Huskers will add at least two more contests to their television slate as part of their institutional package with FSN Midwest. More information about Nebraska's other televised games will be announced when available.
