Inclement Weather Forces "Meet-N-Beat the Huskers" Indoors

Rain showers in the Lincoln area have forced the Nebraska soccer team to move its annual "Meet-N-Beat the Huskers" inside the Hawks Championship Center. The event date and time remain as previously scheduled with festivities getting underway Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m.

The 2009 Huskers will be available to sign autographs in the batting cage area of the Hawks Championship Center from 6:30-7:00 p.m., while the players will then participate in games with the kids on the indoor practice field from 7:00-7:30 p.m. 

The NU Marketing Department will provide free pizza and pop to the first 400 youth and have three inflatable games (quarterback toss, baseball speed pitch and field goal kick) available. Fans will also have an opportunity to take home the new 2009 posters and schedule cards.

Fans are asked to enter the Hawks Championship Center at the southwest doors.
