Big 12 Champion Browne Earns Degree

Former Husker wrestler Brandon Browne will be among the 17 Nebraska student-athletes to earn their degree this Saturday during summer commencement ceremonies at the Devaney Center.

Browne, a native of Plattsmouth, Neb., was one of Nebraska's top performers en route to the Huskers' 2009 Big 12 Championship. After compiling a 34-11 record in his first two seasons, Browne established himself among the best in school history by winning back-to-back Big 12 titles at 174 pounds. He also finished fourth at both the 2008 and 2009 National Championships to finish his career as a two-time All-American. He finished his career with a 79-15 individual record, good for seventh on Nebraska's top-10 career win-loss percentage chart (.840).

Browne is graduating with a degree in psychology.
