"The Spangler, 2009" Set for Sept. 25 at Arbor Links Golf Course

The 5th annual "The Spangler, 2009" will be held Sept. 25 at Arbor Links Golf Course in Nebraska City. "The Spangler" is a special event benefiting the Dick Spangler Scholarship Fund. The Dick Spangler Scholarship, honoring Nebraska coach Bill Spangler's late father, Dick, is awarded annualy to a Nebraska golfer who made significant contributions to the men's golf program through his attitude, effort and team spirit.

The entry fee per player for "The Spangler" is $190.00, and that covers golf, cart and range, all food and drink, cigars and a complimentary gift package.
