Crick's and Nietfeldt's Runs End in Semifinals

Nebraska men's golfer Brandon Crick and former Husker Ryan Nietfeldt had their Nebraska Match Play Championship runs end in the semifinals Saturday at Willow Lakes Golf Club in Bellevue.

Crick lost to eventual champion John Hurley 1 up, while Nietfeldt was defeated by Andy Sajevic 2 and 1. Hurley went on to beat Sajevic 7 and 6 on Sunday.

Crick, the 2008 match play champion, will compete at the U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship July 13-18 in Norman, Okla.
