Huskers Finish 11th at Big 12 Championship

Hutchinson, Kan. - The Nebraska men's golf team finished its season with an 11th-place finish at the Big 12 Championship at Prairie Dunes Country Club on Wednesday. The Huskers shot a 294 in the final round to finish with a 72-hole total of 1,206.

Brandon Crick tied for 25th with a 300 to lead NU. Scott Willman tied for 41st at 306, and Mike Coatman tied for 47th with a 308. Andrew Wyatt finished 53rd with a 310 and Tyler Parsloe tied for 55th at 313 to round out the Husker lineup.

Oklahoma State won its third straight team championship with a 1,149 total, 14 strokes better than runner-up Colorado. OSU freshman Morgan Hoffman also became the third straight Cowboy to win the individual title, finishing at 4-under par 276. Baylor's Bill Allcorn finished second with a 279.

Joining Hoffman and Allcorn on the All-Tournament Team were Robert Streb (KSU), Bronson Burgoon (TAMU), Rickie Fowler (OSU), Pat Grady (CU), Derek Tolan (CU), Andrea Pavan (TAMU), Peter Uihlein (OSU), and Zach Pederson (KU).
