Huskers Poised for Big 12 Championships

The Big 12 Men's Golf Championships tee off Monday at Prairie Dunes Country Club (Par 70) in Hutchinson, Kan. The first 36 holes of the 72-hole format will be played on Monday, with the final two rounds coming on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Nebraska's No. 5 golfer, Tyler Parsloe, will tee off for the Big Red at 9:00 a.m. Scott Willman will follow at 9:12, followed by Andrew Wyatt (9:24), Mike Coatman (9:36) and Brandon Crick (9:48).

The 12th-seeded Huskers are grouped with No. 10 Iowa State and No. 11 Kansas, and the threesome will begin on Hole 10. Pairings for the second round of the first day will remain the same, but will switch starting tees. The second round is scheduled to begin five and a half hours after the first round tee times. Second day pairings will be based on first day results and placed in a horseshoe arrangement.

Temperatures are expected to be in the mid-50s throughout the day Monday with morning clouds clearing later in the afternoon.
