Field Set for 2009 NCAA Championships

Lincoln - The NCAA sent out its invitations for the 2009 NCAA Women’s Gymnastics Championships on Monday afternoon, setting the 12-team field at the NCAA Championships hosted by the University of Nebraska at the Devaney Center, April 16-18, in Lincoln.

Junior Kylie Stone will compete individually as an all-arounder. Stone will rotate with Alabama in the evening preliminary session, facing UCLA, Arkansas, Oregon State, Illinois and Utah at 7 p.m. (CST).

As an all-arounder, Stone will compete beginning on floor, followed by vault, then a bye, bars, beam and ending with a second bye.

With a top-four finish on any event in preliminary action, the junior All-American could qualify for NCAA individual event finals on Saturday, April 18, at 6 p.m. (CST).
