NU-Tech Series Opener Postponed

LUBBOCK, Texas ? Nebraska’s Big 12 opener at Texas Tech has been postponed due to inclement weather that has engulfed most of the state of Texas.

The Red Raiders and Cornhuskers will now play two games on Saturday afternoon and will wrap up the series on Sunday.  Tech will face Nebraska in the first game of a doubleheader at 1p.m. on Saturday with game two set for a 5 p.m. first pitch.

Additionally, Sunday’s game has been pushed back until 2 p.m. due to the fact that the Huskers are not departing Lubbock until Monday morning.

All three games can be heard across Nebraska on the IMG Husker Sports Network, including KLIN 1400 AM  in Lincoln, KRVN 880 AM in Lexington and KFAB 1110 AM in Omaha and on Huskers.com. Fans will also be able to watch the weekend series live on HuskersNside.

All three Big 12 games schedule for Friday (Baylor-Texas A&M and Missouri-Texas) have been postponed this evening.
