After making their debut in the polls last week at No. 75, the Nebraska women's tennis team jumped 19 spots to No. 56 in the latest rankings, thanks in part to their two wins last week over a pair of 8-1 squads, including then-No. 66 Wichita State in Wichita. The 9-0 Huskers will have a chance to climb even further in the rankings if it can keep up the success they have had to start the season, as they play six straight ranked opponents starting on March 17 against San DiegoState.
Nebraska will look to go 10-0 this weekend as they face conference foe Kansas on Friday, March 13. First serve for the match is scheduled for 3 p.m. at the Nebraska Tennis Center.
