Lincoln--The Nebraska men’s tennis team had a fresh set of faces in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Rankings that were released on Thursday, Feb. 19. Freshmen Christopher Aumueller and Benedikt Lindheim made their way into the national double's rankings at No. 51.
This season, the duo has compiled a record of 5-2 while playing at the No. 2 doubles spot for the Huskers. In the fall season, Lindheim and Aumueller advanced to the finals of the ITA Central Regional Championships in Fayetteville, Ark., before falling to Nathan Byrnes and Oleksandr Nedovyesov of Oklahoma State.
In the singles rankings, junior David Bendheim is ranked at No. 123 after recording a 5-3 record at the No. 1 spot this year. As a team, the Huskers are ranked at No. 74.
NU's next match is scheduled for Feb. 27, against DenverUniversity at 6:30 p.m.
