Four current members of the Husker rifle team and two former players made the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll for the 2008 fall semester.
Christine Costello, Amanda Jeffries, Sheena Mahloch and Ryann McGough all competed for the Huskers this fall and were named to the list. Mahloch, a freshman making her first appearance on the list, earned a perfect 4.0 GPA. She is a pre-pharmacy major. McGough, a sophomore psychology major, also notched a 4.0 GPA.
Kim Chrostowski and Katie Harrington, who ended their careers at Nebraska last season, were also selected to the list. Chrostowski is finishing up her degree in history and Harrington in elementary education.
A total of 324 Nebraska student-athletes earned spots on the 2008 Fall Big 12 Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll, including 38 Huskers who posted perfect 4.0 grade-point averages. In order to earn a spot on the honor roll, a student-athlete must post a grade-point average of 3.0 or higher during the semester.
