Huskers Host Memphis in Final Match at Home

The No. 8 Nebraska rifle team will host the 15th-ranked Memphis Tigers Saturday in the final match of the season at the NU Rifle Range. The match will be the final tune-up for the Huskers before they compete at the NCAA Qualifier in Murray, Ky., on Feb. 14th and 15th. 

The Huskers enter the match with a 4,600 combined average. Memphis averages 4,550.20. The Huskers have won two straight shoulder-to-shoulder matches, while finishing second in a three-way competition with TCU and Mississippi in their last outing.

Ryann McGough leads the Huskers with a 576 smallbore average on the season. Amanda Jeffries leads the team in air rifle with a 586.5 average.
