Lincoln ? Nebraska had 13 top-10 finishes in Session 5 of 7 of the Husker Invitational on Saturday evening. The session had eight finals events, including two relays and the three meter dive.
The Husker divers once again highlighted the day's action for Nebraska. After finishing first (Courtney Jolly) and fourth (Emily Burbach) in Friday's one meter dive final, the duo had a strong showing in the three meter dive. Jolly took second with a score of 307.80, while Burbach finished third with a score of 274.65.
Other top-five finishers on the day for NU were the “A” relay team in the 200-yard medley relay (4th ? 1:47.80), and Kaitlin Arntz (3rd ? 1:06.15) and Hailey Dean (4th ? 1:06.37) in the 100-yard breaststroke.
The Huskers are currently in fifth place heading into the final day of competition with 691.5 points, trailing fourth-place Iowa State by 35.5 points. Rice is currently in the lead with 954.5 points.
Sunday's preliminary session starts at 8 a.m., followed by platform diving at 11 a.m. and swimming finals at 2 p.m.
