Lincoln ? The Red/White Series opener for the Nebraska baseball program, originally scheduled for Tuesday at 5:35 p.m. at Sherman Field, has been canceled due to weather. Rain in the Lincoln area forced the cancelation of the first of two days of Red/White Series competition for the Huskers
The Huskers will attempt to resume the Red/White Series Wednesday afternoon at 3:05 p.m. at Sherman Field, and admission is free to the event. NU will wrap up fall drills on Friday, when the Huskers travel to Iowa City, Iowa, to take on the Iowa Hawkeyes. First pitch at Duane Banks Field is set for 6 p.m.
