Parsloe Shares 20th Place at St. Mary's Invitational

Pebble Beach, Calif. - The Nebraska men's golf team recorded a two-round team score of 596 (297-299) Monday and is in 15th place heading into Tuesday's final round at the 17-team St. Mary's Invitational at Poppy Hills Golf Club.

Sophomore Tyler Parsloe led the Huskers with a four-over-par 146 on the day. Parsloe's second-round 71 moved him into a tie-for-20th place overall. Fellow sophomore Mike Coatman is tied for 41st, two shots back of Parsloe at 148.

Brandon Crick, who was in the top ten after his round-one 71, slipped into a tie for 59th with a second-round 80 for a 151 total. Freshman Austin Zimmerman is also at 151 and tied for 59th.

Last year's low scorer, Andrew Wyatt, returned to the Husker lineup for the first time this season after breaking an ankle in the summer. Wyatt had to shake off some rust, though, as he recorded an 81 and 80 to finish the day at 161 and in 87th place.

Domingo Jojola of San Francisco leads the field at 137 (-5). San Francisco leads the team race by four strokes with a 572.

The final round will be a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. central time.
