Huskers Head West for St. Mary's Invitational

The Nebraska men's golf team will play its third of five fall tournaments Monday and Tuesday at the St. Mary's College Invitational in Pebble Beach, Calif. The Huskers will play 54 holes at Poppy Hills Golf Club for the second straight year.

Nebraska is coming off a tie-for-eighth finish at the Kansas Invitational on Sept. 16. Sophomore Mike Coatman is leading the way for the Huskers early in the season. Coatman has recorded two top-20 finishes and leads the team with a 73.6 stroke average. Tyler Parsloe and Brandon Crick share second-place honors at 74.4.

The 16-team St. Mary's College Invitational begins with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. central time. Results will be posted on Huskers.com following the conclusion of each round.
