Lincoln - Nebraska bowler Lindsay Baker was one of six Husker athletes to graduate during the summer commencement ceremonies on Saturday, August 16, at the Bob Devaney Sports Center.
Baker, who ended her Husker bowling career in April of 2008, graduated with a degree in English. A native of Amherst, N.Y., Baker was a four-year letterwinner for Nebraska from 2005 to 2008. She is also a four-time National Tenpin Coaches Association All-American and was the 2006 NTCA Player of the Year. Baker helped the Huskers to their second NCAA bowling championship title in 2005.
Nebraska continues to feature one of the highest graduation rates in the nation with an exhausted eligibility graduation rate of 94 percent.
