Trinity, Texas - Mike Coatman shot a two-under par 70 in the first round of the Big 12 Championship at Trinity, Texas and finds himself tied for second after one round of play. The Huskers as a team are tied for eighth, with a 303 (+15). Oklahoma State leads with a team score of 284.
Coatman shared the lead throughout much of the first round, recording five birdies and three bogies en route to tying his career-best round of 70.
