Huskers End Regular Season With 12th-Place Finish

Charlotte, N.C. - The Nebraska men's golf team concluded its regular season in a tie for 12th place at the Palisades Collegiate Classic. The Huskers posted a 303 in the final round to wind up with a score of 898 for the tournament.

Andrew Wyatt rebounded from consecutive rounds of 76 to card a final round, one-under par 71 and tie for 34th overall with a score of 223. Trent Price also shot 223 for the second consecutive tournament and tied for 34th.

Mike Coatman finished as the only Husker to compete in all 11 tournaments in the 2007-08 season. He put together a final round 75 for a 227 total and 52nd-place finish.

Tyler Parsloe closed the season with his best finish as a Husker, a tie for 53rd. Parsloe shot an 81 in the final round and finished at 228. Chris Bruening, who also scored an 81 Tuesday, finished in a tie for 64th place with a 232.

Charlotte won their own tournament with an 856 team score. Vincent Nadeau of Virginia Commonwealth won the individual title with a score of 206.

The Huskers will now get set for the Big 12 Championship, which will be held Apr. 25-27 in Trinity, Texas. Nebraska has finished 6th at the Big 12 Championship the past two seasons.
