- On Friday, Feb. 29, and Saturday, March 1, the Big 12 Indoor Track and Field Championships will make their return to Lincoln. The Big 12 Indoor Championships have now been contested at the Bob Devaney Sports Center eight of the past 12 years. The Big 12 Outdoor Track and Field Championships were held last year at Ed Weir Stadium, and the NCAA Midwest Regionals will be held this year at Ed Weir Stadium.

Expect to see not only some of the nation's top competitors, but also several of the world's most talented athletes this weekend in what annually is one of the most competitive track and field meets in the country. Nebraska boasts one of the richest traditions among all NCAA track and field programs, and our success on the conference level is nearly unmatched. NU has won 98 conference team championships in 111 years of track and field, more than any major program in the country, while Huskers have added 777 individual event crowns. Nebraska's 20 Big 12 team titles during the league's 12-year existence leads the conference.

Events will kick off Friday and Saturday at 9:30 a.m. with a session pass for both days only $14, a single-day ticket can be purchased for $8. Purchase tickets at Huskers.com, the Nebraska Athletic Ticket Office or by calling 800-8BIGRED.
