Live stats will be available for every Husker softball game in 2008. As a member of the Jump TV Sports network, Huskers.com offers a new version of live stats called "Gamewatcher." The information below is designed to help you learn more about live stats, as well as give you other options if live stats aren't functioning properly.

First off, feel free to explore the new verison of Gamewatcher by clicking here. The new version has a uniquely different look and feel than the old live stats, so you may wish to check it out before the first game. Please be aware that Gamewatcher defaults to include audio, so you may want to have your volume turned off when you click on the link.
If Gamewatcher Isn't Working/Updating
As with most technology, glitches can occur with Gamewatcher. In the event that Gamewatcher is not functioning properly, a second version of live stats will appear on the Huskers.com Live Stats page. This version will contain play-by-play text, viewed as a normal Huskers.com article.
If you are experiencing problems with Gamewatcher, our first suggestion is to close the window and go back to the Huskers.com Live Stats page and re-click on the game link (or see if a new link has been created). If that does not fix the problem, odds are that Gamewatcher isn't functioning properly, so a second link should appear on the Huskers.com Live Stats page that will direct you to an article featuring only text and no graphics.
Tip: Hitting the 'F5' button on your computer will force Gamewatcher to refresh and may help bring you back to live action if the program has been "stuck" for awhile.
If Huskers.com is Unavailable
In the unlikely event that Huskers.com is not available, Gamewatcher will not work. Under this scenario, we encourage fans to bookmark the following URL (http://nebraskaathletics.blogspot.com/), as live updates will be posted to this website (we recommend adding this page to your favorites because if Huskers.com is unavailable, you will not be able to find a link to this URL).
Now that we've got some troubleshooting out of the way, let's take a quick look at Gamewatcher to help you better understand how to view the live stats, as well as tailor them to fit your desired preferences.
This is the first screen you will see when you click on the live stats icon for the game you're trying to view on the Huskers.com Live Stats page. Please note that this page will automatically default to playing the Nebraska fight song, so you may wish to have your volume turned down.
If you are ready to watch live stats, simply click on the "Go" button at the bottom of the page. If you wish to customize your Gamewatcher, this screen allows you to change the "weather" for the game you will be watching. Simply click on a different effect if you wish to choose this. You can also choose the "view" of the field you will see, as three options are available. The final customizable option, located just above the "Go" button allow you to mute the audio or play with the Gamewatcher colors.
Once you've made changes and clicked on the "Go" button, you will see the main Gamewatcher screen which looks like this:
This screen contains of all of the statistical information. The most important information is located on the left side of the window and includes the score and most recent play. The score, as shown above, appears in the top left corner of Gamewatcher. As plays are updated, they will appear in the text box right located below home plate. This text should update shortly after every play in the game.
Other statistical information, such as player stats and complete play-by-play information is available on the right. Once again, the best way to familiarize yourself with the new look is to explore the new verison of Gamewatcher by clicking here.
