The Official College GameDay Built by the Home Depot luxury coach arrived early Friday morning. Construction on the main stage that will be used for Saturday morning's live broadcast began on the field level concourse on the west side of the stadium on Friday morning. The crew also set up a smaller stage in the southeast corner of the stadium that will serve as the set for pregame, halftime and postgame updates from Memorial Stadium.  Kirk Herbstreit and Lee Corso film a segment once the set is complete early Friday afternoon. Chris Fowler joins Corso and Herbstreit to give the show its full crew. The trio filmed a segment for SportsCenter midway through Friday afternoon. Once the crew was done filming in the southeast corner, they turned their attention back to the main stage waiting to be assembled in West Stadium.
