Husker Soccer Announces 2008 Winter Academy Dates

Lincoln - The Nebraska soccer program will conduct the 2008 Big Red Winter Academy at the new Hawks Championship Center on the dates listed below. Camp information, including dates, costs and an application form, can be found by going to the camp brochure link at the top of this page. The academy will include 10 different 90-minute sessions for only $175 and sessions will run from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. on the following Mondays and Wednesdays in 2008:

• Jan. 7, 9, 14, 16, 21, 23, 28 and 30
• Feb. 11 and 13

The Big Red Winter Academy brochure is available by clicking on the link above. The camp is limited to 60 players and camp highlights include:

• Instruction from NU coaches and selected players
• Emphasis on technical skill development and tactical awareness to improve speed of play
• Each player will receive an adidas ball and t-shirt

A $75 non-refundable deposit is required and the full balance must be paid one week prior to the start of the academy.
