Weather Forces Baseball Schedule Changes

Lincoln -- The threat of inclement weather on Wednesday has changed the schedule for the final week of fall practice for the Nebraska baseball team.

The Huskers’ exhibition game against Nebraska-Kearney, originally scheduled for Wednesday afternoon, will now take place on Friday, Oct. 19, with a first pitch scheduled for 2:30 p.m. The game, as well as the other games in the Red/White Series at Hawks Field, is free to the public.

The two-game Red/White Series has been moved up a day and will now take place on Wednesday, Oct. 17 (2:30 p.m.) and Thursday, Oct. 18 (3:30 p.m.). Fans are encouraged to check on Huskers.com for any weather-related changes.
