The Nebraska men's golf team will head to Choudrant, La. for the Louisiana Tech/Squire Creek Classic on Monday and Tuesday at Squire Creek Country Club. Nebraska finished fifth at the Louisiana Tech/Squire Creek Classic last year, but the tournament lasted only 18 holes due to inclement weather.
Nebraska is coming off a 13th-place finish at the Memphis Intercollegiate last week. Juniors Chris Bruening and Mark PIllen led the Huskers, while freshman Mike Coatman continued his consistent play, finishing third in the Huskers' lineup. After the Louisiana Tech/Squire Creek Classic, the Huskers will compete for the final time at the Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate at Las Cruces, N.M. on Oct. 29-30.
