“They got a little momentum with the two minute drill and they caught us on our heels and ended up scoring right before the half. That was big. They just caught us in a couple bad situations. They had the right call and they played well in that two minute drill. We did not play as well as we wanted to."
On Nebraska's trick play to score
“I think that was big. It gave them a lot of momentum because we were up on them 10-0. We were doing what we wanted to do and they came out with a trick play and caught us slipping."
On the change in momentum
“The trick play caught us off guard and then we had another chance to score. On fourth down we went for the fake punt and, I am not sure what happened, but we ended up not getting it. Then the two minute drill. They drove down and punched it in right before the half, which was a back breaker and put the score at 14-10."
On the challenges of a quick turnaround for the defense
“That is how the game goes. Turnovers happen. We forced some turnovers and they forced some turnovers. We just have to bow it up and go out there and get a stop."
On the game coming down to a few key plays
"Yes. That is exactly what it is. We played pretty good on defense and our offense played pretty good. We had a few turnovers but they still had the yards and were moving the ball. It was just one play here and there that put us in bad situations, but we will bounce back."
