<?xml:namespace prefix="st1" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"?>Lincoln ? The Husker Home Run Club is inviting the public to have a Breakfast of Champions with the Nebraska baseball program on Saturday, Oct. 6.<?xml:namespace prefix="o" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"?>
The event, which runs from 9 to 11 a.m., is free to the public and fans are encouraged to enjoy breakfast at Hawks Field at HaymarketPark consisting of cereals, assorted bagels and rolls, fruits, milk, juice and coffee while watching the Huskers go through fall drills, including a live scrimmage.
The event, which is free and open to fans, will also feature a kids area where they can get their picture taken with Husker players. The Husker Home Run Club will have membership information and merchandising order forms available for fans to purchase items for the upcoming holiday season.
The meet-and-greet event is one of the first opportunities to see the Husker baseball team before its annual Red/White Series from Oct. 17-19.
