2007-08 Fall and Winter Clinics Announced

The Nebraska softball program has announced the schedule for the 2007-08 Fall and Winter Clinics. The series features a high school elite pitching clinic, a hitting clinic for campers aged eight years and older and a holiday "battery charger" camp. Below is a schedule, with costs:

• Nov. 26, Dec. 3, 10, 17, Jan. 15, 22: High School Elite Pitching Clinic (FULL)
• Nov. 26, Dec. 3, 10, 17, Jan. 15, 22: 8 Years and Older Hitting Instruction ($120)
• Dec. 28 & 29: Holiday "Battery Charger" Camp ($145)

HIGH SCHOOL ELITE PITCHING CAMP - NOV. 26, DEC. 3, 10, 17, JAN. 15, 22
The High School Elite Pitching Camp is FULL.

 

EIGHT YEARS & OLDER HITTING INSTRUCTION CAMP - NOV. 26, DEC. 3, 10, 17, JAN. 15, 22
Emphasis during these clinics will be placed on teaching the fundamentals of a consistent, balanced, powerful swing.  Instructors will group hitters according to age and will maintain a 1:8 instructor : hitter ratio.  Choose session you would like to attend and mark the appropriate line. 

• A maximum of 30 hitters will be allowed in each session.
• Session 1: 6 p.m. - 7 p.m.
• Session 2: 7:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
• $120 for six (6) sessions

HOLIDAY "BATTERY CHARGER" CAMP - DEC. 28 & 29
This two-day, four-session camp focuses on the in-depth physical and mental training for pitchers and catchers wanting to jump start their preparation heading into 2008.

• Dec. 28: 12:15 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
• Dec. 29: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• $145
