Nashville, Tenn.-The No. 2 Nebraska bowling team proved worth of its ranking after earning a first-place finish at the third-annual Music City Classic on Sunday, March 18. The Huskers finished the event with an 8-2 record and a total pinfall of 9,557.
Senior Amanda Burgoyne led NU to victory, rolling an average of 202 over ten games. Senior Adrienne Miller held a 198 average for fourth place, while redshirt freshman Cassie Leuthold placed ninth with a 189 average.
Nebraska will wrap up its regular season on March 23-25 at the Brunswick Windy City Classic in Chicago, Ill.
