Men's High Jump
Jonas earned his second career runner-up finish in the men's high jump after reaching 7-4 1/2, which tied his indoor career-best height. The La Vernia, Texas, native outlasted fellow Big 12 jumpers Scott Sellars of Kansas State and Andra Manson of Texas, but was unable to join Auburn's David Thomas in clearing 7-5 3/4. Jonas faced early elimination in the contest after missing at each of his first two chances at 7-3 1/4, but was able to clear on his final attempt. He made his final height during the next round on his first try. Following the elimination of Jonas, Thomas went on to reach 7-7 3/4 before even recording his first miss and attempted to tie the collegiate record of 7-9 1/4 before fouling out.

The performance marked Jonas' fifth career NCAA All-America effort in as many chances. His previous best national meet effort of 7-3 3/4 was recorded during each of his previous four NCAA competitions, including his freshman indoor season of 2005 when he finished second place to USC's Jesse Williams. Jonas is now only one national honor shy of former Husker Shane Lavy's school record of six All-America finishes in the high jump.

Women's Pole Vault
Sophomore Brysun Stately registered the only team points of the weekend for the Husker women by tying for seventh place in the pole vault with a height of 13-5 ?. The finish marked Stately’s second career NCAA All-America honor following her sixth-place showing at last year’s NCAA outdoor meet for USC. <?xml:namespace prefix="st1" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"?>MontanaState’s Elouise Rusy won the competition (14-1 ?) in a jump-off with Florida’s Natalie Moser.<?xml:namespace prefix="o" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"?>

Stately was the lone athlete to pass on each of the first two heights. She followed with a clearance on her second attempt at 13-5 ?, but was unable to reach 13-9 ?. Stately helped the NU women earn a team score for the 26th time in the last 28 national indoor meets.

Men's 4x400-Meter Relay
Nebraska’s young 4x400-meter relay provided the team with an addition point to push it into a tie for 25th place in the final team standings. Senior Nate Probasco and freshmen Scott Wims, Daniel Christensen and Lukas Hulett each garnered All-America honors after clocking in with a time of 3:08.68 to place second in their heat, as well as eighth overall. The foresome became the first Husker men’s relay to earn an NCAA placing since the team won the 1996 national title in the distance medley relay. The last NU 4x400 to place was in 1994.

Men's Heptathlon

Junior Ben Schutter was forced to withdraw from the men's heptathlon after suffering a strained hamstring during the 60-meter dash competition to open the event. Schutter, who was a late add to the field on Tuesday after another competitor scratched out of the meet, placed 10th in the 60 with a time of 7.21 before retiring prior to the long jump. He was attempting to earn Nebraska's first-ever All-America finish in the men's indoor heptathlon.

Women's High Jump
Freshman Epley Bullock became the first Husker to claim All-America honors during the weekend by placing ninth after tying her career-best height of 6-0. A native of Allen, Texas, Bullock was one of only nine individuals to reach the height, and she accomplished the feat on her final of three attempts. Bullock, who was the lone freshman competitor in the field, was unsuccessful on each of her three tries at 6-1 1/2.

She registered Nebraska's second All-America finish in the event in as many years since at least one of the finishers ahead of her was a foreign competitor. Bullock is the first Husker freshman to become an All-American in her first opportunity since Angela Dies, Jenny Green and Priscilla Lopes in 2004.

Men's 400-Meter Dash Prelims
Freshman Lukas Hulett was unable to advance out of the prelims of the men's 400-meter dash, as he finished with the competition's No. 11 time of 47.28, which was good for third place in his heat. Hulett was the last entry allowed into the field with his season best of 46.71. Similar to situation of Bullock, Hulett did manage to finish as the eighth American to garner All-America honors. He became NU's first such honoree since the late Mark Graham finished as an All-American in 1994.

Despite not moving on in the 400, the Bellevue, Neb., native is far from finished this weekend, as he will anchor Nebraska's 4x400-meter relay on Saturday evening to close out the meet.

Men's 200-Meter Dash Prelims
Neither senior Nate Probasco nor freshman Scott Wims advanced to the finals of the men's 200-meter dash. Probasco was only two spots short after clocking the 10th-best time of 21.02, which marked a season-best performance. Wims' time of 21.37 earned him 16th place.

Both Huskers will have one more opportunity to earn an NCAA scoring position, as they will join Hulett and redshirt freshman Daniel Christensen Saturday for the 4x400-meter relay.
