Huskers Boast Six on Big 12 Honor Roll

Lincoln ? Six current and former members of the Husker golf team were among 270 Nebraska student-athletes named to the Big 12 Commissioner’s Fall Honor Roll after earning a grade-point average of 3.0 or better.

Seniors Ty Capps, Ryan Lenahan, Brady Schnell and Kent Schreiner and sophomore Trent Price all made repeat appearances on the list. Schnell, a political science major from Omaha, Neb., made his fourth appearance on the list, while Lenahan, a sociology major from Gross Point Shores, Mich. and Capps, a political science major from Highlands Ranch, Colo, each made their second appearance.

Nebraska also placed one first-time golfer on the list in freshman Jamie Marshall, an undeclared major from Aurora, Colo.

Schreiner’s fifth appearance on the list was also marked by his final semester at Nebraska, during which the former letterwinner picked up his degree at the December graduation ceremonies.
