Huskers Take Third at Mid-Winter Classic

Jonesboro, Ark.-Senior Amanda Burgoyne earned a spot on the all-tournament team as the Nebraska bowling team claimed third at the Mid-Winter Classic at Jonesboro bowling lanes this weekend.  The Huskers rolled a total pinfall of 9,042 and held a record of 7-2 in the three-day event.  NU fell to top-ranked Fairleigh Dickinson (8-2) and New Jersey City (8-2).

Burgoyne claimed a third-place finish with a 198 average on the weekend.

The Huskers have a two-week break before the Morgan State Invitational in Baltimore, Md., on Feb. 17.
