The No. 3 Nebraska bowling team will compete at the Mid-Winter Classic at Jonesboro Bowling Lanes in Jonesboro, Ark., this weekend. The tournament will begin Friday at 4 p.m. and will continue Saturday at noon and Sunday at 8:30 a.m.
Seventeen other teams make up the Mid-Winter Classic tournament, including the Arkansas State Indians, who won the Greater Ozark Invitational two weeks ago. Thirteen of the 17 teams are also on the National Tenpin Coaches Association top-16 poll.
The Husker roster this weekend includes seniors Adrienne Miller and Amanda Burgoyne, junior Emma Butchard and redshirt freshmen Cassie Leuthold and Sarah Koch.
