Lincoln-The No. 2 Nebraska bowling team is seeking its second title of the season at the Fun-In-Sun tournament at Daytona Beach, Fla., this weekend. The two-day tournament will begin at noon on Saturday, Dec. 2, and conclude Sunday at 3 p.m.
“With this being the last event of the first semester, we look for positive results from the competition to finish a successful fall season,” Nebraska Coach Bill Straub said.
Nebraska placed second in its season opener at the Cheeseland Classic on Nov. 12, before topping the competition at the Maverick Challenge on Nov. 19.
The Fun-In-Sun tournament, hosted by the Florida Sports Authority, will wrap up NU’s fall season. The Huskers will return to action on Jan. 19, 2007, at the Ozark Invitational in Springfield, Mo.
