Huskers Ranked No. 2 in National Poll

Lincoln-The Husker bowling team received a No. 2 ranking in a preseason National Tenpin Coaches Association poll conducted this week. The poll was the first of six installments for the 2006-07 season. <?xml:namespace prefix="o" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"?>

NTCA, the voice and leadership of NCAA bowling, rated the 2006 NCAA National Champion Fairleigh Dickinson team as No. 1, while the NCAA runner-ups <?xml:namespace prefix="st1" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"?>Central Missouri team received a third-place ranking.

Nebraska, third-place finishers at the 2006 NCAA tournament, begins their season on Nov. 10 at the Wisconsin-Whitewater Invitational at Whitewater, Wis.
