Oklahoma State Postgame Notes

? Oklahoma State has won two of its last three games against ranked teams at Boone Pickens Stadium. The Cowboys defeated No. 13 Texas Tech on Nov. 12, 2005 and lost to No. 23 Texas A&M last week prior to today’s win over No. 20 Nebraska.

? The Cowboys’ 41 points was their second-highest total ever against Nebraska. OSU scored 42 in a loss to the Huskers on Oct. 15, 1988.

? OSU’s 267 rushing yards were a season high. Their previous best was 246 yards against Florida Atlantic.

? Senior D’Juan Woods extended his streak of consecutive games with a catch to 29. He also had a season-high 87 receiving yards.

? With 17 carries for 117 yards, junior Dantrell Savage topped the 100-yard rushing mark for the second consecutive week. Savage also set a career-high with two touchdown runs. He has four rushing touchdowns on the season, covering 70, 60, 20 and 18 yards.

? Sophomore quarterback Bobby Reid’s 56-yard run in the second quarter was the longest rush of his career.

? OSU’s 20 first-half points were a season high in Big 12 Conference play. In their first three league games, the Cowboys scored just nine first-half points total.

? Junior Adarius Bowman has caught at least one touchdown pass in six of OSU’s eight games this season. He has 10 touchdown grabs in 2006.

? Junior defensive end Nathan Peterson’s 19-yard fumble return for a touchdown was the first score of his career. It was also the Cowboys’ second defensive touchdown of the season.

? Freshman linebacker Patrick Lavine recorded a career-high 11 tackles, topping his previous best of eight. Lavine also had his first career sack and forced fumble.
