Day One Washed Out at Derby Invite

The first day of the Auburn Tiger-Derby Invitational was canceled because of heavy rains on Friday at the Auburn University Golf Club. The Nebraska women’s golf team is scheduled to begin play in the 16-team tournament with 18 holes on Saturday, starting with a shotgun start at 11 a.m.<?xml:namespace prefix="o" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"?>

 

The tournament, which was originally scheduled for 54 holes, will be shortened to 36 holes with Sunday’s second and final round beginning with a shotgun start at approximately 8:30 a.m.

 

Live scoring of the tournament, which includes 14 teams that qualified for last year’s NCAA Regional field, will be available on GolfStat.com.
