The Nebraska Athletic Department announced Tuesday that Nebraska’s volleyball match with Texas Tech on Saturday, Sept. 23, will start at 2 p.m. <?xml:namespace prefix="o" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"?>
The match time was announced Tuesday in conjunction with the announcement that Nebraska’s football game against Troy will kickoff at 6 p.m. Both events were listed on schedules as TBA, until the football start time for that day was set.
Fans will be able to watch the top-ranked Huskers, who are 7-0 heading into their Big 12 opener with Kansas on Wednesday, as the Sept. 23 match against Texas Tech will be carried live across the state on Nebraska Educational Television (NET-1 and NET-HD).
While the Sept. 23 match is sold out, Husker fans will have a chance to see the Nebraska volleyball team in action the following day against Creighton at Qwest Center Omaha. Over 8,600 tickets have been pre-sold for the match between the state’s two Division I programs. Ticket prices range from $8-16 and can be purchased at the QwestCenter box office, at Ticketmaster locations across Nebraska and at Ticketmaster.com
