Nebraska Athletic Director Steve Pederson has announced that the Huskers’ Sept. 9 game against Nicholls State will kick off at 12:30 p.m. There will be no television for the game.
Nebraska opens the season on Sept. 2 against Louisiana Tech with kickoff set for 2:30 p.m. The game will be televised nationally on FSN. Nebraska’s game at USC on Sept. 16 will be televised nationally on ABC, beginning at 7 p.m., while the Nov. 24 game against Colorado will also be televised nationally by ABC, beginning at 2:30 p.m.
Kickoff times and television plans for the remainder of Nebraska’s games will be announced six to 12 days in advance of game time.
With the football kickoff announcement, the Husker volleyball team also announced it start times for the Sept. 9 matches as part of the Ameritas Players Challenge. The first match between Minnesota and Louisville will begin at 4:30 p.m., while the No. 1 ranked Husker Volleyball team will take on Cal Poly at 6:30 p.m. at a sold-out Nebraska Coliseum.
